What it detects:

Sperm Count: The number of sperm present in the semen.

Sperm Motility: The ability of sperm to move effectively.

Sperm Morphology: The size and shape of sperm.

Other Factors: Volume of semen, pH, and the presence of abnormal cells or infections.

Who should get it:

Individuals or couples trying to conceive, especially if there have been issues with fertility.

Men with a history of fertility problems or medical conditions affecting fertility.

Sample required:
Semen sample (usually collected via masturbation).

Fasting requirements:
No fasting required, but it’s advised to abstain from ejaculation for 2-5 days before the test.
