Who should get it:
Individuals with symptoms of an eye infection, such as redness, swelling, pain, discharge, or blurred vision, may need this test. It is especially helpful for diagnosing recurrent or persistent eye infections.

Sample required:
A swab from the conjunctiva (inside the eyelid or eye surface) is required for this test.
