What it detects:

IgM antibodies: Indicate a recent or acute infection with the Dengue virus.

IgG antibodies: Indicate past exposure to the Dengue virus or a previous infection.

Who should get it:
Individuals with symptoms of Dengue fever, such as high fever, severe headache, joint and muscle pain, rash, or bleeding, particularly in regions where Dengue is endemic, may need this test.
