OSNATE D TAB 30'S

It is used for treatment and prevention of low calcium levels and resulting bone conditions including osteoporosis (weak bones due to low bone density), rickets (a condition in children involving softening of the bones), and osteomalacia (a softening of bones involving pain).

It can cause some minor side effects such as belching or gas.

Patients with Renal calculi, hypercalciuria, hypophosphatemia, hypercalcemia

Before taking it, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Calcium supplementation can increase the risk of having too much calcium in the blood in people with poor kidney function. Use with caution in patients with kidney disease.

This medication should not be used if you have a certain medical condition. Before using this medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have: a high blood calcium level (hypercalcemia).

This medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.

It may intearct with antibiotics such as Ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin, enoxacin , norfloxacin, sparfloxacin,trovafloxacin, demeclocycline , minocycline and tetracycline. Some bisphosphonates include alendronate, etidronate, risedronate, tiludronate, and others.
