Duphaston Tab 10 MG 2x10's

For the prevention of threatened and habitual miscarriages. Also indicate for the treatment of Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding problems and other menstrual irregularities , Infertility due to inadequate luteal phase.

Headache, migraine , feeling sick (nausea) , breast pain/tender breasts , painful, heavy or irregular periods , no periods or periods happening less often than normal , weight gain , rash, severe itching or hives , feeling depressed , feeling dizzy , being sick (vomiting) , low levels of red blood cells (haemolytic anaemia) , hypersensitivity reactions ,  your body holding onto more water than usual (fluid retention) , swelling of the breasts , feeling sleepy .

Hypersensitivity to the drug and patients with Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding

It should be used with caution in patients with a history of liver diseases due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of liver function, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Do not take more than the recommended dosage.

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.

Drugs that may interact with this drug is Phenobarbital, Nevirapine, Phenytoin, Carbamazepine, Rifampicin and Ritonavir.
