This drug is used in men and boys to treat conditions caused by a lack of this hormone, such as delayed puberty, impotence, or other hormonal imbalances. Testosterone injection is also used in women to treat breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.

Acne, aggressive behaviour, dizziness, enlarged prostate, headcahe, mood changes, weight gain, skin irritationor redness at the injection site (if injectible)

Donot take this medicine if you have hypersensitivity to this drug or if you have , or are suspected to have, prostate or breast cancer.

Before taking it, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Have regular blood tests while using this medication to check whether the medication is working and whether you are having certain side effects. Also, the use of testosterone may interfere with a number of laboratory tests. Tell all health professionals administering these tests that you are using this medication.

Men who use andosterones such as testosterone cypionate may be at an increased risk for developing prostate or breast cancer. Discuss any concerns you may have about this with your doctor.

Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), corticosteroids (e.g., hydrocortisone, prednisone, methylprednisolone) , cyclosporine, dehydroepiandrosterone, diabetes medications (e.g., chlorpropamide, glipizide, glyburide, insulin, metformin, nateglinide, rosiglitazone), propranolol, warfarin.
